Respecting the cultural and religious requirements of customers

 

Doux Group activities have been export-oriented for many years. This is the reason why the Group commits to strictly meeting the cultural and religious needs of specific markets, such as the Middle Eastern market.

The company has practiced halal slaughtering for over fifty years for export brands, most notably the Doux brand, which features halal products only. Each production is certified to follow all the steps and requirements of the halal rite.

Placed under the control of an independent halal certifier, application of the halal rite is carried out by some thirty “ritual sacrificers”. The halal controlling body is responsible for ensuring that all steps of ritual slaughter have been followed.

The Doux brand has been present in the Middle East, most notably in Saudi Arabia, for more than forty years and enjoys an unequaled reputation. A strong and trusting relationship has been created thanks to the Group’s expertise in the sector and a commitment to quality that has existed since the company was founded.
